Zou，also known as Jinjian or Hongxuan，born in Leping，Jiangxi province，is a designer of ceramic arts. Since 15 years old under the influence of his teacher Yeting Wang，he devoted himself into ceramic painting and was good at landscape especially. He also studied Chinese painting and calligraphy，and co-exhibited with such famous painters as Yuanming Bi. Before 1949，he established his own studio in Changqian（where was the Imperial Kiln）；after the founding of PRC in 1949，he was working in the Jianguo Ceramic Factory，as the art designer of ceramic art，in Jingdezhen Institute of Painting and Calligraphy，and was the member of China Arts and Crafts Association.
